CFCF + Austra

Every year, the artists behind the Canadian indie label Paper Bag get together to cover one classic album. This year they covered David Bowie's The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Two of my favorite so-called newcomers - CFCF and Austra - teamed up to cover "Soul Love". Quite a fantastic cover, if you ask me. Have a listen, and judge for yourself.

Purity Ring + Danny Brown

By now, you should all be aware of my obsession with Purity Ring. The track "Belispeak" is probably my favorite off the near-perfect debut album Shrines. I came across this re-work, and I won't deny that I want to hear it on every single dance floor this fall.

S O H N (pronounced Sonn) is a mysterious new electronic artist who recently provided us with the tracks "Oscillate" and "Warnings" (download them for free here).
